What are the advantages of tagless label printing?
• Printed tags are preferred by the consumers. The tags are “soft hand” – soft and flexible, barely noticeable on touch. • Cost of a printed tag is much lower than that of sewn-in label or thermal transfer label, which makes production much more economic, especially for long runs. • With tagless printing, unlike the older label technologies, you don’t have to order ready-made labels. This shortens lead times, reduces inventory, enables Just-In-Time production and gives you flexibility for private branding and short production runs. • The printed tag is of very high resolution and quality and the characters can be as small as 4pt type. • The printed tag does not crack and in general is more durable than heat transfer label. The print also does not alter the texture of the garment and does not damage it. • Production is high speed: from 1200 to 2000 pph (pieces per hour) depending on the graphic.
