What are the advantages of purchasing real estate in Scaly Mountain versus Highlands, NC?
It all just depends on what each individual wants from their mountain lifestyle. For us personally, we wanted acreage, privacy, view and to be located on the “Atlanta” side of Highlands. We were moving from “city-life” and typical “neighborhood situations” and seeking a more secluded, private and mountain home environment. Therefore moving to another Highlands neighborhood did not fit our expectations.
