What are the advantages of playing in an Online Pro Circuit Event?
The Online Pro Circuit is incredibly accessible. You don’t need to travel in order to compete, which saves you time, money, and makes it easy to schedule in with the rest of your life. It also makes it easy for you to form teams with people all over the country and have productive practice sessions in the exact environment in which you will be playing on the Online Pro Circuit. There is no jarring transition from your practice format to that of a Live Competition, which can sometimes be difficult to adjust to. The barrier for entry is significantly lower as well. Registration fees are lower, there are no travel/lodging costs associated with participation, and you can easily make it to ALL of the competitions. The players who are successful enough to earn pro status will enjoy many of the same benefits as pros for Live Competition titles, such as access to the Pro Players Association, editorial coverage, team sites, and potentially even team sponsorships.
