What are the advantages of joining Mensa?
It depends on what you are looking for in a group and how active the Mensa group in your area is. If you do join you know that the people there are intelligent and won’t look at you as if you are weird. This is for children and young adults whose “friends” make fun of their intelligence. You can find sub-groups that are interested in the same things you are, and there are social gatherings on local, regional and national levels. You do not have to attend any meetings but then there would be no point in joining. In no way should you put this on a resume.
