What are the advantages of holding the event in a hospital, compared with other similar events which are not?
This is probably the only event of its kind to take place entirely within a hospital, amongst busy doctors who have access to a range of medical equipment to demonstrate with, as well as access to patients who often get involved. Running the event at a hospital enables doctors and dentists from all levels of the profession to participate. This includes medical students, junior doctors who have just graduated, GPs and consultants who are specialists in their chosen fields of medicine. At M&D Experience, we feel it is important for students considering a career in medicine or dentistry to build ties with local hospitals as early as possible. Medical and dental schools like students who have taken the initiative to get involved with their local hospital, which can often be associated with the medical school itself.
