What are the advantages of heart rate measurement with a wireless chest band versus heart rate measurement with a finger touch?
All Anova Sports heart rate monitors have a wireless chest band transmitter that sends continuous heart rate information to the wrist unit. When wearing the wireless chest band transmitter, heart rate information is, therefore, continuously available to read on the watch unit display. This feature is particularly useful because it provides continuous heart rate measurements that can easily be read without interrupting an exercise routine. Anova Sports model AS-H2N1, in addition to a wireless chest band transmitter, provides heart rate readings with a finger touch. When not wearing the wireless chest band, placing your index finger on the wrist unit touch pad for approximately twelve seconds will display the heart rate measurement at that specific time (rather than a continuous heart rate) on the wrist unit display. Finger touch readings are particularly convenient when wearing the heart rate monitor as a sports watch (without wearing the chest band).
