What are the advantages of CFL over Incandescent?
CFL’s are much more efficient than incandescent bulbs as their energy is not wasted in heating the bulb. This in turn means they are better for the environment as they use substantially less energy for a comparable same amount of light and they are also much friendlier on your pocket as they reduce the amount of electricity you use. They also have the advantage of being cool to touch and thus a reduced safety hazard when compared to incandescent bulbs.
