What are the advantages of CAD/CAM?
The problems with fitting that are encountered with conventional manufacture (waxing, casting) are not an issue, because the structures are industrially manufactured and milled from absolutely pure material. The material does not contain any additional substances, porosities or air inclusions. The material has a much lower oxidation in comparison with classical cast material. The perfect fit is retained throughout even after ceramic veneering. Subsequent separation and soldering of the structures is not required .
