What are the advantages of attending Schoolyard LTER and Teachers Technology Workshops?
There are several advantages: 1. You learn about the tallgrass prairie ecosystem; 2. You can do real science with your students, both in and outside of your classroom; 3. You have access to a world-renowned research station, its scientists and programs; 4. Your students become researchers when they visit Konza Prairie; 5. Bus fees for field trips to Konza Prairie are paid by the grant; 6. Stipends are given; 7. Graduate credit is available (3 credit hours).
