What are the advantages of an Ecoflo system?
The Ecoflo system has a number of advantages which include: • Ecoflo uses a completely renewable resource (peat moss) as a filtering media, in contrast to other types of systems. The peat moss has the additional benefit of being very consistent in quality providing effluent of predictable high quality regardless of site soil type. • Ecoflo can be used in absorption, stream discharge, or drip and spray irrigation systems. • An Ecoflo system uses an at-grade absorption bed, thereby eliminating the unsightliness of a sand mound. • Because the Ecoflo is a filter, the absorption bed is protected from materials that may not be completely removed by some other systems. • With Ecoflo, the peat moss that treats the wastewater is contained in a fiberglass shell that makes it virtually impossible to have untreated or partially treated wastewater leave the system.
