What are the advantages of an alarm receiver on a computer card?
Lower price is a great advantage. By using the electrical current from the PC, the PC box and the PC internal connection, a large part of manufacturing costs does not have to be included in PC board without giving performance away. Having to maintain electrical protection and electrical supply only to one unit (the PC) is a great adavantage. Size is another. Receivers tend to be bulky and since you already have PCs, less space is required. Having no buttons to play with also insures that your staff does not change settings without you knowing.
