As the capacity is large (30GB), you can record up to 7 hours 20 minutes of movies in the HQ (high quality) mode, which is equivalent to 7 DVD discs (12cm). Also, you do not need to worry about overwriting the important recorded images as the camcorder automatically searches the unrecorded section in the hard disk to record. The recorded images are displayed as the thumbnail list on the LCD screen so that you can easily find or delete them from the list.
