What are the advantages & disadvantages of democracy & dictatorship?
Depends on whether or not the dictatorship is educated and ethical, and whether the democracy is educated and ethical. I’d take an educated, ethical, and benign dictatorship over rule by the unruly masses. I’d take a flawed democracy over the rule of an unethical oligarchy that we currently have in power.
Democracy: Goods: Freedom Rights Judicial laws that make sense (most of the time) No Gestapo Bad: Slow Heated hate debates public opinions matter Only works when the people actually care for their government, instead of bitching about their leadership then doing nothing about it. Dictatorship: Goods: Fast (almost immediate) No need for the people to care about anything Bad: No Freedom Law is based on 1 person’s idea of right and wrong , and it usually applies to everyone but the person making the law.
