What are the advantages and disadvantages of working for an employment agency?

0

The only advantage I have had by working through an employment agency is that I haven’t had to apply, on my own, for a job. I file an application and resume with an employment agency, and that agency markets me. The employment agency makes money every time they find me a job! The disadvantage of working for an employment agency is no medical benefits, and usually no opportunity to contribute to a 40lK. Those who work through an employment agency usually receive less than “market” value for the jobs they perform.
