What are the advantages and disadvantages of using organic waxes (Carnauba)?
Many vehicle paint manufacturers recommend carnauba wax as a primary protectant. Due to the bonding properties of organic wax, there is no restriction on expansion and contraction on the paint surface. 99% of custom and show car enthusiasts use a carnauba wax. The main disadvantage with organic waxes is the fact that they need to be replaced more frequently. Prior to applying organic wax be sure the vehicle is thoroughly washed and the paint has been cleaned. Apply paste wax with bare hands.
