What are the advantages and disadvantages of online weather forecasts?
All weather forecasts are probabilities of weather and the further ahead the forecast the greater the chances of being wrong. Online forecasts are always available, useful if you miss the radio or television, often more current than newspapers. They can also be more local than national media forecasts. The likelihood of the forecast being correct also depends on the site being used, the Met Office and BBC are usually reasonable but you have to make your own judgement.
