What are the advantages and disadvantages of hiring and purchasing mechanical plants in building construction?
There are several advantages in Mechanical palnts in construction services or building utilities for various projects.
1) Equipped for building concrete foundation and bases.
2) Well developed to build Metal stud walls.
3) Adaptabel and can be expanded and altered.
4) Compactible for building chemical plants, Metal Finishing plants, Food processing plants etc.
Disadvantages of Mechinal Plants:
1) Requires field welding and fabrication increaing cost.
2) Requires repairs and maintanance.
3) Concerete repair and maintainance may be required after construction.
hiring or leasing has benefits of low monthly cost and can be offset against taxes etc. it leaves options open to upgrade equipment easily or end agreement at convenient point if no longer needed. it wil not deplete capital and can have special equipment hired for specific jobs for maximum efficiency.faulty plant is easily exchanged or repaired by supplier.disadvantage is monthly outgoing payments even if no work is there to fund it. buying eats up capital, after warranty runs out repair costs and spares are down to you.some costs can be offset against taxes. has no monthly outgoings except running. maintenance and transport costs. has a reducing but second hand value so if no longer needed or of no use can be sold or traded in reducing cost of new or upgraded equipment.
