Assuming you are asking the question because you want honest answers (and I think you do) here’s my opinion. I think GM foods can be very beneficial to mankind. It is possible to make them disease resistant and insect resistant so the yields will be greatly improved. It is also possible that there could be essential nutrition or health benefits build into the crops. The other point is that no matter what kind of legislation is passed we are not going to stop this type of scientific investigation by someone. We can only hope to control it. On the other hand I am very concerned that we are moving too fast in implementing these changes without considering the long term repercussions.
