What are the advantages and disadvantages of GH2 compared to camcorders?
Camcorders are made for movie recording especially for event shooting. Pro’s include: 1. Long time movie recording. 2. Smooth full HD 1920×1080p movie. 3. Panasonic camcorders have 3MOS sensors that reduces highlight and reproduce rich vibrant colours. On the other hand, GH2 has an advantage in recording more expressive images unique to SLRs. Pro’s include: 1. Large sensor size allows you to be more creative and produce out of focus background by using a large aperture (depth of field control). 2. Ability to change angle of view of movie recording by changing the lenses such as a wide angle lens or a fish-eye lens. 3. Fine white balance adjustments and use of film mode for recording impressive monochrome movies.
