What are the advantages and Disadvantages of doing cardio in the morning?
Depends on your goal. For instance if you are trying to build muscle and not lose weight, doing cardio in a fasted state will atrophy you muscles as your body will not have the Energy required to fuel your cardio session so may convert protein/Muscle into glucose to use as fuel. If your cardio is slow and steady you can do cardio in a fasted state to lose body fat and not muscle but this cardio is relatively easy and done from 40-60 minutes. If you are trying to get fit and want to do High intensity aerobic work without having breakfast you will lose muscle and you may faint through not having enough carbohydrates in your system. If you want to work hard doing CV Eat something light and hour before your workout even if it’s just a ripe banana to give you the energy to work hard. Hope this helps.
