What are the advantages and disadvantages of arranged marriage?
I answered a question similar to this one a while ago, except it was something about divorce being more common in love marriages. Here is my long answer! Well because it depends on the country that you come from. There are mostly arranged marriages countries other than the US. I will try to explain with out making it too long but it will probably be long anyway. Take India for example. Arranged marriages are usually done by the family for their sons or daughters. Now women and men have a little more freedom on whom they would marry but in the old days you had no choice. Women’s faces would sometimes not be revealed until after the wedding. Now it is much different but you still have the pressure from family for your marriage to succeed. Women and men are pressured to have a good marriage, and family plus good economic status. If any of these fail there is much shame put on the family, especially if there is a divorce!!! Also women must be married by a certain age so she may not be cons
