What are the advantages and differences between the new XFI™ unit and my older style “classic” FAST™ system?
The XFI™ computer processor is four times faster than the “classic” system, allowing it to control more features simultaneously. the new XFI™ system uses a 104 pin wire harness versus a 60 pin wire harness on the “classic” system; again, these additional pins allow more features and devices to be controlled by the XFI™. Additionally, performance features that had to be purchased separately with the “classic” FAST™ system are now included with XFI™ at no additional cost. Just click on the features you want to control in the included tuning software, i.e. four stage power adder control, boost control, tracion control, etc. The XFI™ can also be run in either batch fire or sequential mode. If you choose sequential mode, you will automatically have individual cylinder control of both spark and fuel.
