In addition to the general Graduate School admission requirements and any department specific requirements, international students must meet the following:

In addition to the formulas and GMAT minimums below, international students must also satisfy minimum TOEFL score requirements of 213 (computer exam) or 550 (paper exam). For the TOEFL iBT (Internet-based exam), the minimum score is 20 for each of the four sections with a total score of 80. In addition, sixteen years total education is mandatory. If at least one year has passed from your graduation date to the start of the semester you want to enter the program, you must earn at least 1000 points based on the formula (200 x GPA) + GMAT >= 1000. A GMAT score of 540 or higher is required for unconditional admission to the program. An applicant with a GMAT score of 500 to 530 is placed on a waitlist to be admitted as capacity allows. The minimum GMAT score required for admission (unconditional or waitlisted) is 500.

We require: the Common Application, a personal statement, official records of secondary school work and exam results, two letter of recommendation, TOEFL or SAT I score reports as appropriate, one color photograph and a $30 non-refundable application fee.

International students may apply for admission in any semester. The admission deadline is the Friday before each semester begins for students already in Colorado and three weeks in advance for those located in the United States (US). For students outside the US, the deadline depends on the visa process in that country.
