What are the admission requirements for a magnet program?
At the elementary level, there are no specific requirements to attend a magnet school. Parents of interested students must submit applications postmarked or hand delivered to the Magnet Schools to which they are applying by the annually specified deadline. Those parents/guardians who submitted applications online must submit the signature page printed from the magnet website, postmarked or hand delivered to the magnet school to which they are applying by the annually specified deadline. Failure to submit the signed application to the magnet school will deem the application incomplete and it will not be included in the lottery. If there are more applications than there are seats available, a computerized random lottery will be utilized for student selections.
