Then install the Virtual PC software as obtained from Microsoft. Next, run the New Virtual Machine wizard to create a new VPC that will use the downloaded VHD file. Consult the Virtual PC documentation for additional informaiton. • What should I consider before I run the VHDs? NIST recommends that you install and configure antivirus software and set the VPC networking setting to “Local only” or “Not Connected.” Consult the Virtual PC documentation for information about these settings.
