During the trek, we will be sleeping 2 people in 3 person sized tents. The tents are generally rather new, as SAS Travel has a policy of updating their tents and equipment every 3 months. You will be provided with a mattress to use as well, but not with a sleeping bag. We do rent out down sleeping bags for US $15 each though. On the 3rd night, we will be in Aguas Calientes so we will stay in the Hostal Viajeros (included in the price) or in rare occasions, a hostal of similar quality. The Hostal Viajeros is a basic, but clean and comfortable room with a good location accessible to the train station as well as the Plaza de Armas of Aguas Calientes. Along the route, there are only just a few established (but basic) toilet facilities, but any at other time, we will set up portable toilet tents.
