What are the accessory organs of the digestive system?
The pancreas makes digestive jucies called enzymes which help to digest food further. The gall-bladder stores bile (which is made in the liver), the bile helps to digest fatty acids. The liver is where the blood, that is carrying the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals from the small intestine, enters. The liver is a “food processor,” it stores changes and releases the nutrients to the blood.
