What are the academic requirements for PHC Prep students?
To register for PHC Prep courses, applicants must be high school juniors or seniors, or sophomores who have taken advanced courses; have excellent writing and reading skills; and be willing to commit 10–15 hours per week to each course (or 20–25 hours per week to each accelerated course). To succeed in PHC Prep courses, students must be self-motivated and self-disciplined learners. All are expected to take ownership of their studies, complete assignments on time, actively participate in class discussions, and seek instructor guidance whenever they have questions. In this college-level academic environment, there are simply no substitutes for hard work and a desire to learn.
