What are the academic eligibility requirements when first applying to coop?
You must satisfy the following to apply for coop: 1. You must attend one of the Coop Information Sessions scheduled the week before and/or after Study Week. 2. You must have completed or be completing all of the required first and second semester courses in the semester that you apply. 3. You must successfully complete an English evaluation as administered by Cooperative Education and the School of Computer Studies with a minimum grade of B (70%). Evaluation will be based on an informal interview to evaluate oral and listening skills, EAC150, a completed Resume. (Resume guidelines will be provided). 4. You must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 subjects 5. You must have a minimum of 12 courses remaining to graduate (at the time of application) 6. You must pass every course completed in the semester that you apply. (No failures). 7. Minimum semester G.P.A. of 3.0 (5 or more subjects) Minimum semester G.P.A. of 3.2 (4 subjects) ** All of the above seven requirements must be met.
