What are the 3 MOST abused animals?
I must disagree with the farm animals, but that is a textbook answer. Most livestock seizures by animal control are not actually abused animals, but they’re dairy animals with very little muscle (because the animal uses the protein to make milk, not muscle, and no matter what you feed they aren’t going to pack on muscle and look well fed). They’re also animals like chickens and rabbits who are kept in cages (the most efficient way of keeping and producing show or production stock, nothing wrong with them in cages) or stock that have trouble gaining weight. Dogs are very much abused animals, I know people have a lot of cats but they pretty much fend for themselves.
