What are th benefits of drinking water?
The water is more easily used by the body. Think of drinking water as a way of washing the inside of your body in a similar way that you take a shower to wash the outside. I recently read an article that indicates people that drink juices increase their risk of developing diabetes. I have other articles that indicate that people who regularly drink soda pop are more likely to have weight problems, even if they drink diet sodas (they eat more calories.) Since most sodas contain caffeine, they do more to dehydrate the body than they help. Also, the sugars in sodas and some juice drinks have a lot of sugar that can decrease your immune system.
