Generic terbinafine (Lamisil) tablets are not yet available. What should my health care professional know before I use terbinafine (Lamisil) tablets? They need to know if you have any of these conditions: frequently drink alcoholic beverages kidney disease liver disease (acute or chronic), including cirrhosis or hepatitis an unusual or allergic reaction to terbinafine (Lamisil), other medications, dyes, or preservatives pregnant or trying to get pregnant breast-feeding How should I use this medicine (Lamisil)? Terbinafine (Lamisil)tablets are taken by mouth. Follow the directions on the prescription label. You can take the tablets with food.
