What are Tazos organic practices?
Tazo is committed to delivering the highest quality teas to its customers. Their tea buyers visit their selected tea estates regularly to ensure that good growing practices are in place. Tazo also purchases their Organic Darjeeling tea from estates that they know, and ensure that the organic certificates obtained from these estates meet with their certifier’s approval. Tazo is organic certified by Quality Assurance International. When organic teas are received at Tazo, they make sure there is a matching organic certificate with the teas before they are accepted. Finally, Tazo has established a pesticide testing program which includes random sampling and testing of the incoming teas they purchase.
