What are tax credits and who is eligable?
You won’t qualify as you are too young and earn too much There are two tac credits, working Tax and Child Tax; both are means tested so depend on your household income People with children can be paid Child tax Credts if they have at least one child and a household income of less than 56K p.a working tax can be claimed by people in work with a low earnings. If you have no children and are not disabled you need to be over 25 years old and earn less than 11,500 p.a. working over 30 hours per week. If you have a disability or child you need only work over 16 hours per week.
