What are Tabs and how do I open a new Tab?
IE7 has a new feature called “Tabbed Browsing”. “Tabbed Browsing” allows you to open multiple web pages without opening multiple copies of IE7. Each of the pages is assigned its own Tab and you can click a Tab to between pages. Here is an example of multiple Tabs (four tabs are showing in the red box below): To open a page in a new Tab, you can either Ctrl-click a link or you can right-click a link and select, “Open in New Tab”: To switch to another Tab, simply click the Tab. To close a Tab, click the small x on the tab. If you want to configure IE7 to open pop-ups in a new Tab instead of a new window, do the following: Click the “Tools” button: The “Tools” button is found on the main toolbar which by default is near the top right of the IE7 window: When you click the “Tools” button you’ll see a menu.
