What are study notes and how they compare with CFA Institutes original books?

0

The original books provided to candidates by the CFA Institute form the basis of the curriculum as well as the exam. Many third party vendors sell brief study notes that are all based on the CFA Institute’s curriculum and content. The quality and depth of coverage among study notes providers varies and we recommend using CFA Institute material as the primary basis of exam preparation. Study notes, should only be used to complement the core materials not replace them. Our classroom instruction is based on the original CFA Institute materials, and study resources that we develop for our students based on CFA Institute curriculum.
