Star Wars bootlegs are unlicensed, knock-off copies of the original toys manufactured by Hasbro/Kenner. In this particular case, the bootlegs I collect are made in China (by who knows whom). Nevertheless I buy them legally (with receipt) at brazilian toy stores. I don’t endorse or promote bootlegging, I just collect the toys, and sell them and trade them with other collectors in order to enlarge my personal collection of toys.
