What are Standing Committees, Ad Hoc Committees, and Task Forces in student government?
Within the ASPSU, there are Standing Committees, Ad Hoc Committees, andTask Forces. Their function is to make recommendations to the StudentSenate and implement actions that effect students. Standing Committeesare defined by the Constitution and have chairpersons nominated by thePresident. These include the Student Fee Committee, the ElectionsCommittee, and the Building Fee Committee. Ad Hoc Committees and TaskForces are created by the President to achieve the goals of the ASPSU.
