What are standards of minimum proficiency?
Standards of minimum proficiency reflect and build on what the academic community expects from students who have satisfactorily completed CWP 101 and 102 or their equivalents. An essay answer written during an exam, when there is neither time nor opportunity for revision, is NOT evaluated as strictly, particularly for organization and mechanics. Informal personal writing done in class as a learning device is evaluated IF AT ALL only for content.
