What are SSCs EnviroStars goals for 2007?
As part of the certification process, EnviroStars applicants must list several goals for the coming year. These are SSC’s goals for 2007: To post our EnviroStars info in the shop and discuss at company safety meetings. To compare notes and volumes on wastes generated from year to year (starting back in 2000) and look for ways to continue reducing amount generated. To coordinate with other local jurisdictions (like Whatcom County and the Port of Bellingham) to educate customers on reducing the use of hazardous materials and proper handling and disposal or recycling.
