A. The list of HIV test kits in our e-catalog includes those most frequently used in PEPFAR countries. If you require a test kit that is not shown, we may be able to supply it, but we will need to seek confirmation of efficacy and suitability from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Due to increasing demand, test kit manufacturers are reaching their maximum production capacity. Supplies are not always immediately available, so clients should expect a lead time of up to 14 weeks for large orders. Many test kits have a relatively short shelf-life. With a shelf-life of less than 12 months it is important to have staged delivery to obtain the maximum useable life. SCMS can advise on appropriate delivery patterns.
