What are some words that rhyme with love?
For PERFECT rhymes the selection is very limited: *above, dove, glove, shove (and compounds ending with them) And its unlikely you’ll want to use “shove”, so you are VERY limited. Options? 1) Rewrite the line so that it only *contains* the word love, but does not end with it (placing a word in that position that is easier to rhyme). 2) Look for a decent “NEAR” rhyme (more info below- You may have more options if you slightly change the FORM of the word. In this case “loves” might help. For a near rhyme you have to match the sound of the VOWEL (the short “uh” sound). The CLOSER the final consonant is to the /v/ sound the better. (This is why I suggested “loves”, since it ends with a /z/ sound that is much easier to match.) The only VERY close sounds are /b/ and /f/, giving you: * bub, cub, dub, flub, grub, hub, nub, pub, rub, stub, sub, tub * buff, chuff, cuff, duff, enough, fluff, guff, huff, muff, puff, rough, snuff, stuff, tough You could also try words ending with more distant conso
