What are some wireless technology products that are useful for teachers and computer users?
There are hundreds of wireless technology products and more are being invented daily. Many are for your computer and many are related to phones. Most of them can be used by today’s teachers in your classroom! First, let me tell you about some of the ones related to your computer. One of the basic ones is a wireless router. This piece of equipment is plugged into your internet cable modem in order to receive the signal and make your desktop or laptop computer wireless. Another piece of equipment is called a wireless card. It is possible to make almost ANY desktop computer wireless (not connected to the internet modem by a cord) if you install a wireless card in your computer. What this means for you is that you can place your desktop or laptop anywhere in your classroom or house as long as you have an outlet to plug into! This gives you much more freedom!
