A personal bug repellant would be to rub some teatree oil on your wrists and ankles or you could try lavender oil. To keep bugs off the garden ;Boil some garlic and a couple of hot chillies in water on the stove. Be careful not to breathe in the fumes.Let it simmer for 20 minutes. Let cool then strain into a spray bottle. Add a few drops of gentle liquid detergent(to help it stick) and use on any or every plant in the garden. Just be careful that you’re not spraying the good bugs like our helpful little lady beetles.
