What are some ways to combat global warming?
A lot of things actually: On personal level; 1. Keep your vehicle engine and exhaust system fine-tuned. CO and CO2 emitted from vehicles exhaust are contributors to GW. 2. Use sprays, chemicals, refrigerants marked CFC free. CFC cause ozone depletion which leads eventually to GW. 3. Minimize use of aerosols. ON a general view point; If you are an engineer or a manager who can take tought decisions: 1. Shift from CFC to RCFC type of refrigerants. 2. Use fuels with low sulphur content. 3. Use catalytic convertors to reduce NOx and SOx emmission levels from exhuast system. There are quite many other things which can be done but then it becomes too tedious for an individual especially a layman to consider.
