What are some useful tips for positioning the camera in my classroom?

1. Position the camera approximately 10 feet away from where you’ll be conducting the activity with the class. This allows you to get a good shot of the students and yourself and picks up enough sound so the consultants will be able to view and hear the classroom activitiy. 2. Make sure that you capture both yourself and the students in the shot. It is important that we can observe the teacher student interactions. 3. When you set up the camera, do a few test shots and view them before you tape a full session. This way you can make sure you and the students are being recorded.
