What are some uncommon, but effective online methods of advertising jobs?

Hi, I am not sure how uncommon these are- i suppose it depends on your generation. But the places where I have had success recently looking for jobs include: – craigslist.com (seriously!) – indeed.com (allows the job seeker to have notifications of new jobs sent to email daily or weekly) – your website! Yes- I regularly scanned the websites of specific businesses that I knew would hire someone of my profession. Some allowed me to sign up for email alerts of job openings (a good idea). – professional associations for your profession – college online job-boards to recruit entry-level – list-serv’s that people in that profession subscribe to (might need an insider connection) Then, there is also of course: – the newspaper (online job page) – word of mouth– Email people that are successful in that profession and ask them if they know anyone who is looking for a job (or where they would look to find the job you are advertising).

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
