What are some typical giveaways that a poker player is bluffing?
I would add one word of caution to the first posting and that is that while it is very solid advice the sharks out there also know these tips and will do their best to use them to their advantage by doing the opposite to lure you into thinking they are giving you a tell. Just about every poker book written will tell you the bulk of these tells. Having said that there are not allot of players out there who take the time to read the books so the tips already stated are certainly valid just be aware of the person leading you down the rose path. The most useful technique that I like to use takes allot of time playing in a particular poker room and obviously you end up with the same players allot of the time. You watch each individual player for his own tells that are not the text book type of tells.
