i was asking that same question a couple weeks ago and my friend has a leopard gecko that never comes out of hiding me personally i’ve had a leopard gecko and i dont like them and i got a bearded dragon for like 40 bucks and i love it they are very docile lizards i hold mine every day and give him a bath they are fairly easy to take care of when they get older they will need a 40-70 gallon tank because they can get to 24″ long but for babies you only need 10-30 but dont buy a lizard from a big chain store they are only interested in making money watever lizard you buy look at tons of care sheets hope my answer helped
