What are some things you would suggest bringing that are not typical things people think of bringing?
A. Bring at least one nice outfit in case you decide to go to homecoming or to an event where you need to dress up. This is important especially if you are from farther away. Bring lots of pictures from home because in the first few weeks you will want to see them and you will want to show your new friends pictures of your old friends. In the J-MAC rooms the closets do not have doors. In my room and a bunch of others, people bought shower curtain rods and shower curtains to make doors so people can’t see how clean the closet is. I would also bring a lamp or two because the big lights in the room are really bright. If you forget something and don’t have a car it is okay because a lot of people make department store runs in the first few weeks.
